About the role

The hospital in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering high‑quality surgical care, from initial consultation through post‑operative follow‑up, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex cases and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, assessments, diagnosis and develop treatment plans.
• Perform plastic, reconstructive and related surgical procedures.
• Provide comprehensive pre‑operative and post‑operative care.
• Monitor recovery, conduct follow‑up visits and adjust care as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Uphold high standards of patient safety, quality care and professional practice.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary medical teams.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• MD, DNB, Board certification or Fellowship in Plastic Surgery (or equivalent).
• Several years of post‑specialisation experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
• Proven track record of delivering surgical care in a hospital setting.
• Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration and patient education.
