Country Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Country Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to lead sales growth and client relationship management for a drilling services business in Oman. The role combines technical sales expertise with commercial responsibility to ensure profitability and market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets for drilling services in Oman.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key clients and partners.
• Lead business development initiatives, including new market entry and service promotion.
• Support the profitability of the business through effective P&L management.
• Coordinate with technical and operations teams to align sales proposals with service capabilities.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of total professional experience.
• Proven background in the drilling industry with operational, technical, maintenance, or commercial exposure.
• Progressed into Sales Manager, Account Manager or BDM roles with a technical sales focus.
• Strong knowledge of drilling rigs, equipment, drill pipes and related services.
• Experience in rig inspection, refurbishment, repair or servicing (e.g., CAT III/IV) is preferred.
• Exposure to on‑shore/off‑shore drilling operations, ideally in the Middle East.
• Solid commercial acumen, including cash‑flow and P&L management.
• Excellent client relationship, leadership and business development skills.
