Customer Service Officer

About the role

MedNet Oman, a leading managed‑care service provider, is seeking a Customer Service Officer to strengthen relationships with members, providers, brokers and insurers. The role focuses on proactive communication, feedback collection and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Answer member, provider, broker and insurer calls promptly and efficiently.
• Support insurance companies through regular meetings, gather requirements and propose solutions.
• Collect client feedback via in‑person, phone, email, website and surveys.
• Manage client complaints through the ticket system and maintain complaint records.
• Contribute ideas for loyalty programs such as free medical check‑ups and expert talks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Paramedic or related field.
• At least 2 years of customer service or call‑center experience in a hospital or medical‑insurance environment.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
• Flexibility to work on a shift basis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Understanding of health‑insurance industry practices (advantageous).
