EIT Supervisor – Quality Inspection & Testing

About the role

The EIT Supervisor will lead quality supervision and inspection activities for electrical and instrumentation (E&I) works at fabrication yards and project sites. The role ensures that all installations meet project specifications, approved drawings, inspection‑test plans (ITPs), method statements and relevant codes/standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise E&I quality inspection activities on‑site and at fabrication yards.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, ITPs, method statements and applicable codes/standards.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, commissioning and client inspection teams.
• Monitor installation quality of cable trays, supports, power and control cables, earthing and lightning protection systems, junction boxes, marshalling cabinets, panels, switchgears, transformers, MCCs, instrument tubing, impulse lines, field instruments and analyzers.
• Conduct and witness inspections and tests, including cable continuity, insulation resistance, earthing resistance, instrument calibration verification, loop checking, functional testing and pre‑commissioning checks.
• Review test reports and inspection records to verify compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising E&I quality inspection activities.
• Strong knowledge of project specifications, approved drawings, ITPs, method statements and relevant codes/standards.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with construction, engineering, commissioning and client inspection teams.
