Electrical Draftsman / Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman / Design Engineer to join our Muscat office. The role involves creating detailed electrical documentation and designing low‑voltage (LV) power distribution systems for industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, single‑line diagrams, panel layouts and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD, EPLAN or similar tools.
• Design LV Switchgear, Motor Control Centres, control panels, VFD systems and PLC interfaces.
• Generate BOQs, material take‑offs, load schedules and perform cable‑sizing calculations.
• Ensure designs meet project specifications, safety regulations and international standards.
• Coordinate with project engineers, procurement and site teams to deliver practical solutions.
• Review and update drawings based on feedback and client requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning and technical documentation throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical drafting and design for LV Switchgear, VFDs, PLCs and BMS systems.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
