English Language Lecturer

About the role

Albinora Consulting FZE is seeking a dedicated English Language Lecturer to join its team in Muscat. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality English instruction, assessing student progress, and contributing to curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and manage students' learning in English language courses.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and mark examinations.
• Participate in preparing an annual English teaching plan.
• Record and monitor attendance and classroom behaviour.
• Organise learning materials and resources to support students.
• Contribute to the administration and management of courses and related projects.
• Assist in developing new courses and educational initiatives.
• Set assignments, quizzes, and other assessment tools.
• Engage in professional development activities.
• Manage work effort in line with contract guidelines and staff regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Postgraduate or Bachelor degree in English Language & Literature.
• Minimum of 4 years teaching experience.
• Native English speaker.
• CELTA certification is an advantage.
• Experience in teaching EAP, ESP or IELTS preferred.
• Familiarity with a technology‑infused academic environment and cultural sensitivity.
