About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher for Grades 6 and 7 at New World International School in Muscat. The successful candidate will deliver engaging English lessons, support student development, and collaborate with staff and parents to foster a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Create lesson plans and assist in curriculum development for Grades 6/7 English.
- Apply a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
- Complete and maintain student progress reports.
- Manage classroom activities and student behaviour effectively.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Participate in professional development classes and programs.
Required profile
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivational, organized, and capable of leading a classroom.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, patient, and tolerant.
- Good listener who enjoys working with children.
- Comfortable interacting with parents, administrators, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
