Entry-Level Chemistry Lab Technician

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an entry‑level Chemistry Lab Technician to support prototype and laboratory testing at its Muscat facility. Working under direct supervision, you will learn and apply the company’s chemical hygiene plan and HSE safety standards while gaining hands‑on experience with a range of laboratory equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow prescribed safety rules and chemical hygiene procedures while performing assigned tasks.
• Conduct prototype or laboratory tests according to established procedures.
• Assist in building and operating electrical, electronic, chemical, and mechanical test equipment.
• Perform basic material and environmental tests using standard laboratory techniques.
• Document test data accurately and prepare reports.
• Maintain files and documentation related to test equipment and results.

Required profile

• Completed at least eight hours of college‑level chemistry coursework (preferred).
• Strong interest in learning laboratory techniques and safety practices.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow detailed procedures.
• Good organizational skills for maintaining records and documentation.

Required skills
