Experienced Coating & Cathodic Protection Engineers – Middle East

About the role

We are seeking experienced Coating Inspectors and Cathodic Protection (CP) Engineers to join our maintenance projects across various locations in the Middle East. The roles involve inspection, testing, installation, and maintenance of coating and CP systems for underground pipelines, storage tanks, wells and offshore facilities in the oil & gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Perform coating inspections on underground piping, storage tanks, wells and offshore structures following relevant codes and standards.
• Conduct advanced CP field tests such as stray current interference, current interruption, close‑interval surveys, T/R unit and potential surveys, IR free readings, polarization decay tests, soil resistivity and offshore platform surveys.
• Install, repair, modify and test anodes, test leads, cables, junction boxes, resistor boxes, reference cells and rectifiers.
• Execute CIPS, DCVG, ACCA and ACVG surveys and direct examinations per ANSI/AMPP/NACE guidelines.
• Maintain detailed documentation, data plotting, analysis and prepare technical reports on a daily and weekly basis.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent with AMPP/NACE CIP Level 2 for coating inspectors (minimum 8 years experience).
• Diploma or equivalent with AMPP/NACE CP Level 2 for lead CP technicians (minimum 6 years experience).
• Education certificate plus apprenticeship with AMPP/NACE CP Level 1 for CP technicians (minimum 6 years experience).
• Proven experience in oil & gas corrosion control, coating systems and CP system maintenance.
