Finance Manager

About the role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well‑established service‑based organisation in Muscat, Oman. This hands‑on leadership role carries full responsibility for finance operations, compliance, reporting, budgeting and administration while managing a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance and administration function across the Oman business, overseeing monthly, quarterly and annual close activities.
• Prepare management accounts, board reports and detailed financial analysis, and monitor performance through budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Manage a team of three finance professionals, ensuring accurate balance‑sheet reconciliations, revenue recognition, accruals and project accounting.
• Drive improvements in profitability, working capital, cash‑flow projections and financial controls, and lead external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA or CMA) preferred.
• 8‑10 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership of a small team in a service‑based industry.
• Strong experience in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, VAT and statutory compliance.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Experience with cloud‑based accounting systems.
• Project accounting and job‑costing knowledge.
