Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will be based in Muscat and will handle the day‑to‑day financial operations of Durri Space, an Omani space‑technology company. This full‑time, on‑site position involves preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets and ensuring compliance with relevant reporting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements and reports in line with applicable standards.
• Monitor budgets, support cash‑flow management and provide financial analysis for strategic decisions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on financial matters.
• Maintain accurate financial records, assist with internal and external audits.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of financial policies and procedures for technology and infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance and financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA or CMA are a plus.
• Experience in technology, infrastructure or project‑based organisations, preferably within Oman’s regulatory environment.
• Ability to work with integrity, maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, innovation‑focused setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS or comparable financial reporting standards.
