Finance Officer/Manager – Full‑time in Muscat

About the role

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s day‑to‑day financial activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial controls, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly and annual management accounts and financial reports.
• Monitor receivables, payables, banking, payments, and working capital.
• Manage project costing, profitability, budgets, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, taxation, audit, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, clients, and relevant authorities.
• Maintain strong internal financial controls, policies, and approval procedures.
• Support management with financial analysis, commercial evaluations, and business decisions.
• Supervise and support the finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, VAT, and taxation.
• Experience in project‑based, engineering, marine, construction, or technical services companies preferred.
• Experience working in Oman and knowledge of local financial and regulatory requirements preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting software systems.
