Food Delivery Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Food Delivery Coordinator to join Calo’s Oman Central Production Unit. The role acts as the operational link between dispatch, drivers and customers, ensuring meals are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and train driver personnel responsible for meal deliveries.
• Verify and organise route orders before they leave the kitchen.
• Monitor real‑time driver communications, handling last‑minute changes and delays.
• Serve as the central point of contact between the CX team and drivers for any delivery updates.
• Conduct routine due‑diligence checks in line with HACCP, sanitation and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with Ops Management, Dispatch Leads and Quality teams to improve workflow and address customer concerns.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience coordinating high‑volume delivery platforms.
• Omani national.
• Strong ability to work in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi and Urdu.
• Leadership mindset with empathy and a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
• Experience with route mapping and planning tools.
• Comfort using computers for operational tasks.
