Gastroenterology Specialist (Medical)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team in Oman. The role focuses on medical gastroenterology, providing expert diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal and liver diseases in both OPD and inpatient settings.
• Perform diagnostic upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure proper patient follow‑up.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of post‑specialisation experience (4–6 years preferred).
• Qualification: DM, DNB or Arab Board in Gastroenterology.
• Clearance by DHA and eligibility for Oman DataFlow, Prometric or MOH Viva.
• Ability to independently manage OPD and inpatient gastroenterology cases.
