Group Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, commercially‑minded Group Finance Manager to lead the financial function across our portfolio of companies. The successful candidate will combine strong technical accounting expertise with strategic financial planning to support senior leadership in making informed business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee finance operations for all entities, ensuring robust financial governance and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow analyses.
• Monitor performance, identify profitability drivers and recommend actions to improve efficiency.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies and manage statutory audits, tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Partner with executives on investment appraisal, business expansions and capital‑expenditure proposals.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability.
• Identify financial risks, manage working capital, treasury functions and ensure compliance with banking covenants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA) preferred.
• Approximately 12 years of progressive finance experience, including 6‑8 years in hands‑on accounting roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing finance across multiple business entities or a group structure.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
