About the role

As the Head Baker at a leading luxury hotel brand, you will direct all bakery operations, delivering high‑quality breads, pastries and desserts that reflect the property’s premium standards. Your creativity and attention to detail will shape the guest experience and uphold the hotel’s reputation for culinary excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily baking production schedules to meet operational needs while maintaining freshness.
• Oversee the preparation, baking, and presentation of breads, pastries, desserts, and related items.
• Develop and innovate seasonal and signature recipes aligned with guest preferences and brand standards.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for bakery supplies.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of bakers and pastry assistants.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and quality regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Head Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel, high‑end restaurant or boutique bakery.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and pastry arts.
• Creative flair for developing new menu items and seasonal offerings.
• Leadership ability to inspire and manage a bakery team.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Culinary school certification or apprenticeship preferred.
