Healthcare Nutrition Specialist – Al Batina North, Oman

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist to promote its Specialized Nutrition portfolio in Al Batina North, Oman. You will act as a medical representative, building scientific relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and positioning Danone’s nutrition solutions as the preferred choice.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to hospitals, clinics and private practices to influence HCP attitudes and drive product adoption.
• Deliver scientific audio‑visual presentations and seminars, ensuring HCPs receive accurate clinical data.
• Identify business opportunities, implement weekly call cycles, and respond to competitive activities.
• Maintain high product knowledge, handle queries/complaints, and ensure compliance with WHO and local regulations.
• Prepare and submit promotional activity reports and quarterly business plans.
• Manage daily database entries and adhere to administrative procedures.
• Gather market intelligence on HCPs and competitors, and share insights with the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a medical representative or similar sales role in the healthcare sector.
• Strong scientific background with the ability to discuss clinical studies.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with HCPs and KOLs.
• Results‑driven mindset with a focus on achieving quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
