Heavy Equipment Electrical Technician

About the role

An experienced Heavy Equipment Electrical Technician is sought for a position in Oman. The technician diagnoses, repairs, maintains and troubleshoots electrical and electronic systems in heavy equipment and machinery, ensuring maximum equipment availability and minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults in heavy equipment.
• Perform preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance.
• Carry out equipment inspection, servicing, repair and maintenance at job sites.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment for fault detection and repair.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to complete work safely and on time.
• Follow safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 9+ years of hands-on experience as an Electrical/Electronics Technician.
• Strong experience repairing, operating and diagnosing heavy equipment.
• Experience in electrical and electronic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Candidates with heavy equipment or construction machinery experience are preferred.
