Home Health Physiotherapist – Muscat, Oman

About the role

The Home Health Physiotherapist provides comprehensive physiotherapy care in the community, helping patients with chronic disease achieve optimal health and quality of life. Working under physician orders and a defined plan of care, the role involves delivering hands‑on therapy, exercise programmes and equipment‑based treatments to patients in their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients’ musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiothoracic conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver physiotherapy interventions such as exercises, stretching, manual therapy, heat/ice packs, ultrasound and electro‑therapy.
• Provide telephone follow‑up consultations and educate family members or caregivers on physiotherapy techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records, report adverse events and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with program managers, hospitals, pharmacies and Axios Dubai staff to coordinate patient support programs.
• Conduct home visits, prepare monthly monitoring reports and quarterly quality‑assurance reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Sports.
• 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Valid local health authority licence or eligibility letter.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Female candidates only.

Required skills

• Physiotherapy assessment and clinical evaluation.
• Exercise therapy and manual therapy techniques.
• Use of heat packs, ice packs, ultrasound and electro‑therapy equipment.
• Telephone follow‑up consultation.
• Knowledge of chronic disease physiotherapy.
