Hotel Manager

About the role

The Hotel Manager is accountable for the day‑to‑day operation of the property, driving guest satisfaction, service quality and financial performance. Reporting to the General Manager, the role leads all operational departments and ensures compliance with brand standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations and coordinate activities across all departments.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, presentation and service throughout the property.
• Monitor guest feedback, online reviews and complaints, and ensure prompt resolution, especially for VIP guests.
• Lead, motivate and develop the management and operational teams, conducting regular meetings and performance reviews.
• Control departmental expenses, support budgeting, and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management to maximise occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire and security regulations and oversee emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular quality audits, operational inspections and implement corrective action plans.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs and renovations to keep guest rooms and public areas in excellent condition.
• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management and escalate critical issues.
