Hotel Room Polisher (Full‑Time)

About the role
The Polisher is responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of guest rooms, meeting rooms and public areas within the hotel. This full‑time position ensures that all spaces meet the high standards of cleanliness and upkeep expected by guests.
Key responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms and public spaces, including flipping mattresses, vacuuming, deep‑cleaning carpet, touch‑up painting, dusting and bathroom cleaning.
- Maintain, repair and clean all areas according to property procedures and standards, handling minor repairs such as tightening toilet seats, changing light bulbs and patching wall holes.
- Inspect grout, caulking and light fixtures, ensure appliances are present and functional, and report any serious maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Less than one year of related housekeeping or maintenance experience.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, bending, twisting and reaching overhead.
