Human Resources Executive

About the role
The Human Resources Executive will support OUA Travel’s operations by managing the full employee life‑cycle, from recruitment to off‑boarding, and ensuring compliance with Omani labour regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, monitor and appraise employee performance; conduct performance review meetings.
- Train managers on coaching, development and disciplinary actions.
- Lead recruitment activities, liaise with local and overseas recruiting offices, organise interviews and select candidates.
- Administer employment contracts, issue letters for salary changes, promotions, disciplinary actions and confirmations.
- Handle staff disputes at the Labour office and represent the company in hearings.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyse feedback and propose improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance to manage payroll, attendance systems and recommend process improvements.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, employee benefits and change‑management communications.
- Identify training needs, organise workshops, seminars and in‑house training sessions.
- Process visas, work permits, ID cards and ensure timely renewal of staff and dependent documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and confidential company documentation.
- Renew company licences, lease and agency agreements; manage facilities, branding and trade‑license requirements.
- Build relationships with government authorities and act as primary contact for external legal consultants.
- Centralise stationery procurement and control related costs.
Required profile
- Omani national with a university degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Omani labour law and HR best practices.
- Experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, visa and work‑permit processing, and contract administration.
- Ability to liaise effectively with government authorities and legal consultants.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
