Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Muscat focuses on maintaining and enhancing the company’s IT infrastructure. The engineer will ensure reliable operation of data‑center, networking and security systems while delivering technical support to end users.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure systems, including servers, networking equipment and data‑center hardware.
• Manage network administration tasks such as configuration, monitoring and performance optimisation.
• Ensure network security by implementing policies, firewalls and regular audits.
• Provide technical support for OS deployment, desktop environments and end‑user issues.
• Oversee hardware and server‑room management, including cabling, rack organisation and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting and IT systems management abilities.
• Proficiency in network administration and security practices.
• Hands‑on experience delivering technical support across diverse IT environments.
• Ability to work on‑site in Muscat and collaborate with local teams.
• Knowledge of data‑center infrastructure, networking and data security concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA, MCSE) are a plus.
