IT Manager

About the role

The IT Manager provides first‑ and second‑level technical support for the property, handling break‑fix, installations and system maintenance. Working within established guidelines, the role ensures technology assets are secure, compliant and aligned with Marriott policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technology budgets, place equipment orders and process invoices for PCs, telecommunications and network devices.
• Conduct inventories of hardware and applications, prepare reports and ensure assets are secured.
• Provide end‑user support: image desktops, install software, apply patches, map drives and perform routine backups.
• Support server and network infrastructure, including switches, routers and access points, and coordinate vendor resources.
• Assist with disaster recovery, business continuity planning and escalation of complex issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 2‑4 years of IT experience, or an associate degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field with 2 years experience.
• Preferred professional certifications related to system administration or networking.
