Java Backend Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining high‑performance backend services that power our core applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Java‑based backend components using Java 21 and Spring (Core, Data, Security).
• Design, implement, and version RESTful APIs following OpenAPI specifications, ensuring proper pagination and idempotency.
• Integrate with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, and implement caching strategies with Redis.
• Deploy and manage services on Kubernetes clusters, handling Linux environments and basic networking tasks.
• Write unit and integration tests with JUnit and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Implement security mechanisms such as JWT and SAML, and set up monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and API design.
• Hands‑on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and Linux environments.
• Proven ability to write clean, testable code and work within CI/CD workflows.
