Junior Process Engineer, Mechanical

About the role

The House of AMOUAGE is seeking a Junior Process Engineer, Mechanical to support engineering excellence and process improvement across its production, packing, and warehousing operations in Muscat. Working closely with the Process Manager, you will help optimise equipment performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain functionality and optimal performance of production lines and machinery.
• Ensure availability of essential spare parts for all equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery.
• Research and implement cutting‑edge technologies, coordinating installations and qualifications of new equipment.
• Develop long‑term relationships with key equipment suppliers.
• Drive improvements in production efficiency by optimising production flow.
• Provide training and technical leadership to personnel on equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with industrial machinery, equipment, and maintenance tools.
• Ability to support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Basic understanding of electrical diagrams, wiring connections, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic understanding of process engineering principles and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
