Key Account Manager – Projects & Retail

About the role

Terracotta is recruiting for two Key Account Manager positions – one focused on project sales and the other on retail/channel sales – for a leading international paints and building materials organization based in Muscat, Oman. Both roles require strong commercial drive and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, consultants, dealers and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new project opportunities or expand the retail territory through dealers, distributors and retailers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry, tender, award, supply to project completion or ongoing account management.
• Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate profitable orders and achieve sales, gross‑margin and collection targets.
• Support product specifications, approvals, technical presentations, mock‑ups and demonstrations.
• Monitor competitor activity, market pricing and upcoming opportunities to maintain a strong pipeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of project sales experience or 1–3 years of retail/channel sales experience in paints, coatings, flooring, EIFS, construction chemicals, waterproofing or related building‑materials sectors.
• Proven ability to build relationships with consultants, developers, contractors, dealers or distributors.
• Strong market awareness, commercial orientation and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
