KNX Engineer

About the role

The KNX Engineer will design, program, and commission KNX‑based home automation systems for high‑end residential projects in Muscat. Working on‑site, you will translate client requirements and architectural plans into comprehensive KNX solutions covering lighting, climate, shading, and entertainment.

Key responsibilities

• Create wiring diagrams, device schedules and detailed KNX system designs.
• Configure and program KNX devices, IP interfaces and integrate them with HVAC, shading and AV equipment.
• Test, troubleshoot and commission installations on‑site.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers and installation technicians.
• Provide technical support, perform system updates and prepare user documentation and training.

Required profile

• KNX certification (Partner or equivalent) with proven experience in luxury residential projects.
• Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• Strong understanding of low‑voltage wiring, circuit fundamentals and IP networking.
• Ability to work on‑site in Muscat, manage multiple projects and maintain high attention to detail.

• Low‑voltage wiring and basic circuit knowledge.
