About the role
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a skilled L2 Operations Support Engineer to join its Oman team. You will provide advanced technical troubleshooting for complex application, database, and infrastructure incidents, ensuring high availability and seamless service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve escalated application and system issues.
- Perform deep‑dive analysis of logs, database queries, and system performance.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis, implement fixes or work‑arounds, and document solutions.
- Monitor application health and infrastructure performance to meet SLA targets.
- Collaborate with L3/development teams on bug resolution and keep stakeholders informed.
- Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles and troubleshooting guides.
Required profile
- 1–6 years of experience in application support, production support, or IT service management.
- ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Oracle or SQL Server are a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, able to work under pressure during critical incidents.
