Lifeguard – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join Six Senses Zighy Bay as a Lifeguard and help guests enjoy safe, memorable water experiences in a luxury resort setting. You will be the first line of safety for swimmers, beachgoers, and water‑sport participants, embodying the brand’s values of responsible hospitality and wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous surveillance of pools, lakes and ocean areas.
• Monitor headcount and ensure safe participation in water‑sports on an hourly basis.
• Provide safety briefings and enforce water‑sport rules and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate hazards, control unruly behaviour and enforce guest protocols.
• Perform first aid, CPR and emergency rescues as needed.
• Conduct pool chemical checks and ensure equipment is well‑maintained.
• Uphold Six Senses service standards, LQA guidelines and guest feedback metrics.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a luxury spa, health club or resort lifeguard role.
• Current lifeguard certification from a recognised training provider.
• Proven ability to stay calm and act decisively in emergencies.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to live on‑site in a remote location for extended periods.
