Maintenance Planner – Electrical Heavy Equipment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to lead electrical maintenance and troubleshooting for heavy equipment and industrial plant machinery in Suhar, Oman. The role supports preventive and breakdown maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, safety and minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, mobile equipment, cranes, screening plants and Metal Recovery Plants (MRP).
• Diagnose electrical and electronic faults using computerized diagnostic and testing equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance, inspections and condition monitoring, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Repair wiring, sensors, relays, switches, starters, alternators, controllers and safety circuits.
• Support equipment commissioning, testing and fault finding while adhering to LOTO, PPE and electrical safety requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in electrical maintenance and repair of heavy construction equipment and industrial plant machinery.
• Proven experience with MRP, screening plants, mobile equipment and cranes.
• Degree or diploma in Heavy Duty Equipment Electrical Technology, Industrial Electrical Maintenance or related field.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work in a 24‑hour operational environment with rotating shifts, overtime and weekends as required.
