Maintenance Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to head our aircraft maintenance planning function. The role ensures that all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities are planned, resourced and executed in line with regulatory requirements, company policies and operational targets, guaranteeing aircraft availability, safety and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily and weekly maintenance plans for the active fleet.
• Monitor due and overdue maintenance tasks, including flight hours, flight cycles, calendar‑controlled items, ADs, SBs and MEL/CDL items.
• Adjust plans dynamically based on operational changes such as delays, aircraft swaps and AOG situations.
• Review and finalize short‑term work packages for line and light maintenance.
• Ensure task cards and maintenance data are accurate and current, coordinating with engineering when needed.
• Lead, coach and supervise light‑maintenance and short‑term planners, assigning daily priorities and monitoring output quality.
• Act as the primary interface between CAMO, Maintenance Control Centre, line/base maintenance operations and flight dispatch.
• Maintain full traceability and documentation of planned tasks, support budget preparation, audits and training compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aircraft maintenance planning and execution.
• Strong knowledge of Oman CAA regulatory requirements and CAMO processes.
• Ability to lead a team, provide coaching and manage performance.
• Excellent coordination skills with engineering, supply chain and operations.
• Experience in budgeting, audit support and training compliance.
