Maths Teacher

About the role

Our partner school in Muscat is looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join the faculty immediately. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages up to KS5, delivering high‑quality mathematics education in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well‑structured lessons aligned with the school’s scheme of work.
• Set and mark homework in line with school policies.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor progress, set targets and inform future lessons.
• Provide regular oral and written feedback to students.
• Undertake pastoral duties and contribute to student wellbeing.
• Participate in staff meetings, curriculum discussions and professional development activities.
• Attend parent meetings prepared to discuss achievement and welfare.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of teaching experience in mathematics.
• Qualified with a PGCE or equivalent teaching credentials and experience letters for the last four years.
• Degree related to the subject area.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
