Migration Delivery Manager

About the role

Our client, a global cards and payments firm, is partnering with a leading bank in Oman to execute a comprehensive card‑scheme migration. The Migration Delivery Manager will lead the Project Management Office (PMO) and act as the primary liaison between the bank and the client, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery of the conversion program.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the PMO to govern and drive the card‑scheme migration program.
• Develop and maintain the Migration Masterplan, managing workstreams, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the scheme and the client, providing executive‑level communication and governance.
• Oversee performance dashboards, visualising conversion health, activation and spend metrics.
• Manage card production and digital issuance, from design and personalization to fulfillment and processor integration.
• Design and execute the customer conversion journey to minimise impact.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Technology, Product, Operations, Marketing, Procurement, external partners) to meet timelines.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies and decisions, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.
• Provide regular reporting, insights and executive updates on migration progress.
• Lead portfolio optimisation initiatives post‑migration to achieve targeted performance outcomes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within payments or banking.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale migration or transformation programmes.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to diagnose performance indicators such as activation, digital adoption, spend and attrition.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
