Migration Delivery Manager

About the role

Our client, a global cards and payments firm, is partnering with a leading bank in Oman to execute a comprehensive card‑scheme migration. The Migration Delivery Manager will lead the Project Management Office, coordinate between the bank and the client, and ensure the seamless migration of the card portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the PMO to govern and drive the end‑to‑end card scheme migration program.
• Develop and maintain the Migration Masterplan, managing workstreams, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
• Act as the primary liaison between the scheme and the client, providing executive‑level communication and governance.
• Oversee card production, digital issuance, personalization, fulfillment and processor integration while ensuring compliance with scheme standards.
• Manage the customer conversion strategy and journey to minimise impact and drive activation, spend and portfolio health.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Technology, Product, Operations, Marketing, Procurement and external partners.
• Monitor migration progress, performance dashboards and provide regular reporting with actionable insights.
• Lead portfolio optimisation initiatives and support the bank in scheme billing and cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Engineering or MBA degree from a recognised institute (e.g., IIM, IIT) and PMP or equivalent project‑management certification preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in program or project management within banking or payments, with a focus on large‑scale conversion programmes.
• Proven ability to align cards product, risk, operations, marketing and vendors to deliver on time and on budget.
• Strong knowledge of card payments, portfolio optimisation and customer conversion processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
