Nursing Assistant – Immediate Opening in Muscat

About the role

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant to join a healthcare facility in Muscat, Oman. The successful candidate will support residents with daily living activities and assist nursing staff in delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as trained.
• Support positioning, turning, mobilization and safe transfer of residents.
• Provide mobility assistance using wheelchairs, walkers or other devices.
• Assist with meals, hydration and feeding under nurse direction.
• Care for residents with urinary catheters, tracheostomy, PEG tubes and other medical devices under supervision.
• Observe and report any changes in physical or mental condition to the staff nurse.
• Participate in pressure injury prevention, skin observation and regular repositioning.
• Maintain infection prevention and control practices, including hand hygiene and appropriate PPE.
• Assist during emergencies and follow established protocols.

Required profile

• ANM / GNM / B.Sc. Nursing qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing assistant experience.
• Successful completion of dataflow verification for qualification, license and experience.
• Pass the MOH Viva examination.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
