Odoo Functional Consultant

About the role

The Odoo Functional Consultant will join Atheer Global Solutions in Muscat to work directly with clients, understand their business processes and translate them into effective Odoo ERP solutions. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering end‑to‑end functional implementations and ensuring smooth adoption across multiple modules.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirement‑gathering workshops and document functional specifications.
• Configure Odoo modules such as Sales, Inventory, Accounting and HR to match client needs.
• Perform comprehensive functional testing and support data migration activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams on customizations and integrations.
• Develop user training materials, conduct training sessions and produce documentation.
• Provide post‑implementation support, troubleshoot functional issues and propose continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to assess business needs and design Odoo‑based solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for client workshops and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proven experience in business process analysis, preferably within ERP projects.
• Background in finance or accounting processes to support Odoo financial modules.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in Muscat, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with SDLC, basic SQL concepts and change‑management practices.
• Professional certifications in Odoo or business analysis are a plus.
