Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead the overall jewelry manufacturing operation, ensuring efficient production, strict quality standards, and timely delivery. This role focuses on strengthening operational structures, managing an expanded workforce, and coordinating all functions that support manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the operational budget, control direct and indirect manufacturing costs, and recommend capital expenditures for new machinery or technology.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production to meet targets, delivery schedules, cost objectives, and quality standards.
• Establish clear production workflows, responsibilities, and operating procedures for structured and efficient operations.
• Control raw materials, gold, gemstones, components, work‑in‑progress, and finished products, including vault management and metal reconciliation.
• Ensure jewelry is produced according to approved designs, technical specifications, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with Procurement to secure timely material availability.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the production and operations team, integrating the expanded workforce based on skills and production needs.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and accountability for supervisors, technicians, and goldsmiths, setting performance expectations and providing coaching.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar operations or manufacturing role.
• Proven expertise in modern jewelry manufacturing processes and ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
