Oracle Apps DBA / Oracle Database Administrator

About the role

KalSoft is seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to manage and support Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle RAC database environments. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, security, and seamless operation of enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle EBS (R12.1.3 / R12.2.x) and Oracle RAC databases.
• Monitor database performance, storage, and system health.
• Perform backup, recovery, and cloning using RMAN and Data Pump utilities.
• Apply patches, upgrades, and security updates to Oracle databases and EBS.
• Troubleshoot database, application, and workflow issues.
• Manage Oracle Enterprise Manager and other monitoring tools.
• Implement and maintain database security policies.
• Provide support to functional users and development teams.
• Coordinate with Oracle Support (MOS/Metalink) for issue resolution.
• Prepare monthly reports, issue logs, and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle RAC.
• Oracle Certified DBA certification preferred.

Required skills

• Oracle E‑Business Suite (R12.1.3 / R12.2.x).
• Oracle RAC 19c or higher.
• RMAN backup & recovery, EXPDP/IMPDP.
• Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control.
• Oracle Advanced Security, Database Vault, Audit Vault.
• Oracle Solaris, Linux, Unix environments.
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting.
