Packing Machine Technician – Biscuits Production

About the role

We are looking for experienced Packing Machine Technicians to join our biscuit manufacturing plant in Oman. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting automated packaging lines to ensure continuous, high‑quality production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and adjust biscuit packing machines and automated lines.
• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and PLC‑controlled equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve faults quickly to minimise downtime.
• Set up, calibrate and change machine settings for different product sizes and packaging formats.
• Inspect finished goods for packaging quality and compliance with GMP, HACCP and HSE standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, machine records and production reports.
• Collaborate with production, quality and maintenance teams to meet output targets.

Required profile

• Degree, Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Mandatory experience in packing machine operation and maintenance within the FMCG biscuits industry.
• Gulf region experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, six days a week.
