Primary Homeroom Teacher

About the role

Beaconhouse School Al Khuwair is seeking enthusiastic Primary Homeroom Teachers to join our team for the upcoming academic year. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and fostering a love of learning among young students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well‑structured, interesting lessons aligned with medium‑term plans and the school’s curriculum.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of curriculum changes and incorporate them into teaching.
• Utilise school resources and technology to enhance student learning.
• Allocate appropriate teaching time for all subjects, especially when specialist staff are absent.
• Provide regular written and verbal feedback, marking work according to school policies.
• Administer, mark, and record formal assessments in line with guidelines.
• Encourage lifelong learning skills and uphold school policies and schemes of work.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education or a related Bachelor degree with postgraduate specialization in Education.
• Native English speaker.
• Availability to start at the beginning of the next academic year.
