Principal Transformation Lead

About the role

The Principal Transformation Lead will drive the execution of the Improvement Management process across RPI & Plastics, aligning initiatives with OQ RPI strategic objectives. Reporting to the Head of Transformation, the role owns standards, tools, and procedures for resource planning, prioritisation, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and steer the company‑wide transformation strategy, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable value and support long‑term ambitions.
• Act as the governance focal point for strategic priorities, coordinating sponsors, core teams and the Transformation Steering Committee.
• Prepare and present progress reviews, risk assessments and performance insights to senior leadership.
• Lead performance analytics and value‑realisation assessments, validating financial and operational benefits.
• Develop and enhance governance frameworks, templates and processes for initiative management.
• Engage senior leaders, initiative sponsors and functional heads to secure ownership and accountability.
• Facilitate decision‑making forums, including steering committees and core‑team reviews, delivering insight‑driven materials.
• Lead communication and organisational engagement activities to promote transformation outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading large‑scale transformation or business‑excellence programmes.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior‑management level.
• Familiarity with governance, performance tracking and benefit‑realisation methodologies.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and align initiatives with corporate values and standards.
