Process Engineer Level I

About the role

Worley is seeking a Process Engineer Level I to support the standardisation of equipment specifications, drawings and document templates for on‑shore oil and gas projects. The role involves preparing design specifications, providing technical support within the discipline team and ensuring that recognised engineering practices are applied throughout the process design lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support standardisation of equipment specifications, drawings and document templates.
• Prepare design specifications for process works and ensure all work is checked and approved before issue.
• Provide technical support within the discipline team, liaise with project teams and consult relevant resources as required.
• Coordinate review and approval of design and interface documents against client requirements and specifications.
• Prepare process scope of work (SoW) and obtain agreement from supervising senior or lead process engineer.
• Support peer‑review processes, incorporate comments and findings into design documents.

Required profile

• Process engineering experience in on‑shore oil and gas projects, including multi‑disciplinary team work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university; Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or pursuit is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering across multiple areas.
