Procurement Specialist – Associate Level

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an Associate Procurement Specialist to support material acquisition for manufacturing, field operations, technology, and project teams. You will work under direct supervision to ensure timely and cost‑effective purchasing while adhering to the company’s Category Management strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders based on material requirements from various business units.
• Execute Category Management policies, expedite or de‑expedite orders, and process change orders as needed.
• Analyze and resolve basic Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt (GRIR) issues with assistance.
• Prepare Request for Quotations (RFQs) and coordinate competitive bidding to secure optimal quality, delivery, and price.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and contribute to cost‑containment initiatives.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in a technical, business, or related discipline.
• Entry‑level experience or strong academic background in procurement or supply chain.
• Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP Purchase to Pay processes (preferred).
