Procurement Specialist

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities.
• Source and evaluate suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Communicate and negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive prices and favorable terms.
• Request and compare quotations, prepare purchase orders, and follow up on deliveries.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Manage and maintain petty cash records and ensure proper documentation of expenses.
• Coordinate fleet insurance, including renewals, documentation, and communication with insurance providers.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, invoices, quotations, and supplier documentation.
• Ensure purchases are made efficiently and in accordance with company policies and budgets.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related role.
• Experience in Odoo / Tally program.
• Practical experience handling petty cash and expense documentation.
• Experience dealing with fleet/vehicle insurance and insurance providers.
• Good knowledge of purchasing procedures and supplier management.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow‑up skills.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and achieve competitive pricing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement activities.
• Must be Omani.
