Production Engineer – Equipment & Rotating Packages

About the role

We are seeking a Production Engineer to lead the planning, coordination and supervision of fabrication, assembly, installation, testing and commissioning of static and rotating equipment and packaged units for offshore oil and gas projects. The role ensures all activities meet project specifications, quality, HSE standards and schedule commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute fabrication and installation of equipment and rotary packages according to approved drawings, procedures and specifications.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet targets and project milestones.
• Review engineering drawings, layouts, isometrics, vendor documents and construction work packs prior to execution.
• Optimize utilization of manpower, equipment, materials and subcontractor resources.
• Monitor productivity, identify efficiency improvements and reduce re‑work.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production engineering within offshore oil & gas or similar heavy‑industry environments.
• Strong understanding of fabrication, assembly, installation, testing and commissioning processes for static and rotating equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, isometrics and work packs.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills to manage resources and schedules.
