Professional Service Engineer – Cyber Security

About the role

The Professional Service Engineer – Cyber Security will design, implement, assess, optimise and troubleshoot a range of cybersecurity solutions for a growing client base. The role combines technical delivery with consulting, knowledge transfer and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement, assess, optimise and troubleshoot cybersecurity solutions and products.
• Deploy and manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms such as Splunk and QRadar.
• Configure and maintain firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet), IDS/IPS and VPN technologies.
• Implement email and web security solutions.
• Roll out Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR) across all endpoints.
• Apply advanced malware prevention tools including Cisco AMP, Threat Grid and FortiGuard Sandbox.
• Manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
• Deploy Data Activity Monitoring tools such as IBM Guardium.
• Prepare client presentations summarising findings and recommendations.
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients and handle support tickets as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on security engineering experience.
• Preferred certifications: CCIE Security, CEH, CISSP.
