Project HSE Analyst

About the role

The Project HSE Analyst will support our client’s operations in Muscat by driving the implementation and continuous improvement of the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management system. This role ensures that all activities comply with Omani occupational safety legislation and internal welfare standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the HSE Management System across projects.
• Monitor compliance with Omani OSH Regulation MD 286/2008 and other applicable legal requirements.
• Coordinate welfare arrangements and oversee the delivery of training programmes for staff.
• Conduct regular audits, risk assessments and corrective action follow‑up.
• Take initiative to identify gaps and drive corrective measures to achieve HSE objectives.

Required profile

• Diploma (3 years) or Degree (4 years) in a technical or administration discipline.
• Professional HSE qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Omani legal HSE requirements and OSH Regulation MD 286/2008.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to act independently.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Omani HSE legal framework.
• NEBOSH / IOSH certification.
