Project HSE Performance Specialist

About the role

The Project HSE Performance Specialist will lead health, safety and environmental initiatives for our client’s operations in Muscat. This permanent position focuses on implementing and maintaining the HSE Management System and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audits for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and act as Lead Auditor.
• Implement and continuously improve the HSE Management System across projects.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with Omani HSE legislation and other applicable regulations.
• Plan, organise and manage HSE tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
• Make timely, accurate decisions and take initiative to resolve HSE issues.

Required profile

• Diploma (3 years) or Degree (4 years) in a technical or administrative field.
• NEBOSH (IGC) certification or equivalent HSE qualification.
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Minimum five years of experience in a similar HSE role.

Required skills

• Implementation of HSE Management Systems.
• Knowledge of Omani HSE legal requirements.
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 lead auditing.
• Strong planning and organisational capabilities.
