Project Manager – Engineering Projects (Muscat)

About the role

The Project Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Muscat, responsible for overseeing engineering projects from initiation through completion. The role involves planning scope and timelines, coordinating design, supervision, field surveying and inspection activities, while monitoring progress, budgets and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Plan project scope, timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate design, supervision, field surveying and inspection tasks.
• Monitor progress, control budgets and schedules, and resolve quality or delivery issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and clients to ensure smooth execution.
• Oversee logistics, material expediting and site activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and engineering documentation.
• Prepare project documentation, status reports and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Strong project management experience on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Experience in expediting functions and timely delivery of materials/services.
• Knowledge of inspection processes and ability to coordinate technical inspections.
• Competence in logistics management, planning and resource coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or a related field.
• Proven background in consulting engineering or similar project‑based environments.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in Muscat and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with project management software and standard engineering documentation practices.
